Do you have a special talent for sports like tennis or surfing?  Maybe you like to knit or paint.  Why not share these talents you have developed with your grandchildren?

Sometimes we forget that we possess abilities and knowledge that we can share with our grandkids.  Even someone with a clerical background can show a child how to type on a computer.  If you have a science or engineering background you might want to show your grandkids how to make something mechanical or do some fun and simple science experiments.  Plus there are lots of resources for making things on the internet to draw from.

Boys, of course, will love it if you play basketball with them or show them how to fish.  Girls enjoy baking, learning the arts of sewing and doing fun crafts.  Lots to teach your grandkids, so do take advantage of your time with them.  They grow too quickly.
